This is an IN-PERSON summer camp
Painting with Sound is a brand new creative music program for kids in Grades 5-8. Participants will explore improvisation, composition and songwriting through musical games, collaborative creative projects and ensemble playing with rhythms from the jazz tradition and beyond!
This playful and inspiring day camp is led by award winning musicians and pedagogues Jodi Proznick and Bill Clark alongside special guests Nikola Tosic (composition) and Meredith Bates (strings).
Participants will come away with great ideas for improvising, composing, arranging songs and doing collaborative musical projects with others. There will be a final concert at 3pm on the last day.
